Hi.  I'm Kevin "Slow Jammin'" James.  And welcome to The Weekend Slow Jam.

The Weekend Slow Jam is a variation of the Slow Jams you hear on slowjams.com during the week, but with a twist.  There is a saying we have (one of several):  Many of our songs have a place in our hearts, not necessarily on the charts.  You can call it the flip sides, B sides, or those other songs on an LP.  No matter what you call it, we call it GREAT music.  We encourage you to let us know about your favorite songs that don't get airplay.  You say it, we play it. 

There is too much music available to play the same song over & over.  This show has developed over the years with suggestions of listeners worldwide.  This particular program began in Washington, D.C. and moved to Los Angeles, with stops in Tampa, FL & Houston, TX.  One thing I have learned is that the listener is always right.  If you love a song, we love it also.  Now with a worldwide audience we are discovering more and more great songs.  We thank you for being a part of our dream, Slow Jams 24 hours a day.

We love the Slow Jams and the people we play them for...which is our way of saying, WE LOVE YOU.
