Win the new CD from Mint Condition

R&B/Soul group Mint Condition, known best for their 90s hits "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" and "What Kind of Man Would I Be," is back with a ninth album, "e-Life," due May 6. The set comes via a joint venture between the band's own label, CagedBird Records, and Image Entertainment.

"e-Life" is Mint Condition's first release since their 2005 album, "Living The Luxury Brown," which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Independent Album Charts. It includes collaborations with Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Phonte from the group Lil Brother and Anthony Hamilton, who is featured on the first single titled "Baby Boy, Baby Girl," which was released to radio on Feb. 18.

In support of their upcoming album, Mint Condition will embark on a 2008 U.S. promo tour this spring, followed by an international trek in Europe and Japan. The group plans on releasing new talent via their label, including an experimental jazz group featuring members of the Mint Condition.

Mint Condition was signed in the early nineties by producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Beginning as a sextet, the group now stands at five after amicable departure of keyboardist Keri Lewis.
